The main entrance of the Zuylestein country estate, which dates from the fourteenth century, is located on the Leersum-Amerongen border by the Utrecht-Arnhem secondary road (N225).
Come through the huge ornamental gate, built in the nineteenth century by Roermond architect P. Cuypers (Rijksmuseum and Centraal Station Amsterdam main railway station), to enter a historical park that is special to the Netherlands because of its entirely intact original Renaissance style.
Take a lovely walk, bicycle ride or a guided tour on and around the Zuylestein country estate.
Kitchen garden
The country estate kitchen garden is open every Friday. Between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm, the daily harvest is sold at the orangery. On Fridays, a kitchen garden bag is available for €7.50.
